Janet Ford, the Principal Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist came into this world of all things beauty while planning her own wedding in 2011. Knowing the importance of understanding the bride’s vision to create their perfect look as well as creating looks that are long lasting, Janet Ford began her whirlwind career into weddings.  Not knowing where this would lead, Janet founded Ford Beauty in 2012 and began to perfect her signature looks that focuses on beautiful flawless skin. 2013 began the expansion of Ford Beauty where Janet took the time to handpick and train artists with the same passion and drive for perfecting makeup and hair styles for our Ford Beauty brides.

We keep up to date with the latest makeup and hair trends and products by attending product launches, testing out products, as well as continually perfecting our craft and learning from other artists.

  • Janet Ford and Ford Beauty is amazing. Janet was accommodating, very personable and friendly, and most importantly of all, is a master of makeup. I received tons of compliments for my makeup after my trial (including airbrush), which I had done by 7am on a Saturday and wore all day, straight through my full day bridal shower plus bachelorette. I even sweat during a pop dance class during, and the airbrush makeup held through dinner and late into the night. Janet had great recommendations and adjustments to our requests, and made sure my bridal party and I looked gorgeous. She did a fabulous job with my hair (half up fishtail braids into a hair rose), put makeup on my decollette, had super useful touch up kits, and made applying individual lashes look incredibly easy. You definitely will not be disappointed if you choose Ford Beauty for your big day!

  • Janet is an unbelievable person! she’s extremely friendly, patient, and very understanding. She is an expert in her work, makes great recommendations on the makeup and hair. She’ll tell you the truth to let you know what looks best for you. I did my trials and she was listened to all my concerns or thoughts that I had. She tried on different styles to see what I would like and I love how her recommendations sticks close to what I had imagine. She is flexible in what my girls had requested. The day of my wedding, she stuck by her schedule and was on time. She was great on time management. It was the best choice to go with her as she’s so professional and kind and her work is amazing! She was a joy to be around, and she makes you feel so comfortable and at ease. I did a trial with her a few months before my wedding, and she took her time to understand what I wanted and made me feel very comfortable considering I normally don’t wear much make up.
